CreatePay is a leading provider of payment solutions products, dedicated to helping small to medium-sized UK businesses streamline their payment processes. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for visiting businesses, conducting cold calls, and appointed meetings whilst driving the adoption of our payment solutions products.
Compensation and Benefits:
* £40,000 base salary with uncapped commission (OTE £80,000)
* Company Car Allowance of £5,000 plus fuel card
* Regular incentives, including overseas trips

Scope of Role:

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Promote a culture of growth through sales across the business
2. Maintain a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business
3. Meet and exceed sales targets, with the potential to earn a six-figure income
4. Identify and target businesses within the CreatePay ideal customer profile in your designated territory through cold calling and appointed meetings
5. Conduct in-person visits to present our payment solutions products to potential clients
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, decision-makers, and key stakeholders
7. Understand the pain points of each prospect and tailor product presentations accordingly
8. Communicate the benefits and features of our payment solutions, addressing any questions or objections
9. Stay updated on payment trends, competitor offerings, and our product portfolio to provide informed guidance to clients
Success Measures:
1. Achieve all sales targets in a consistent manner (month by month)
2. Maintain high levels of growth of revenue and sales volume
3. Achieve all agreed objectives with positively trending relative key performance indicators
4. Convert sales appointments and self-generation appointments to live and transacting customers, as per KPI
Requirements
Experience:
1. Successful track record of working in a sales team and an ability to demonstrate an ability to grow and develop
2. Proven experience in a sales role, in a field sales and B2B sales capacity
3. Relatable and positive experience of working in a fast-paced transforming organisation
Skills/Qualifications:
1. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and manage your schedule
2. Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients
5. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory
6. Knowledge of payment solutions or financial products is a plus
