Exam Invigilators | £12.82 - £14.00 per hour
CER is recruiting for a number of exam invigilators to work in schools across Liverpool, Sefton, and the Wirral.
The roles will be offered on an ad-hoc basis from March 2025 to July 2025. This is a great job for anyone looking for flexible work; candidates can choose to work only mornings, only afternoons, full days, or can commit to just a few hours. The decision is up to you how many or how few hours you would like to work. The role will require invigilating during GCSE, A Level, and Mock examinations.
Please note: Knowledge of the English language is essential as some students require 1-2-1 support and you will be required to read and write exam papers as they advise.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that the exam room is set up properly.
* Control the flow of people into and out of the exam room.
* Supervise during exams.
* Communicate with teachers, classroom assistants, and invigilators during exams.
* Ensure that students do not bring in materials that are prohibited in exam rooms.
* Make sure that students are not cheating or attempting to cheat on their exams.
* Ensure that all students are treated fairly, impartially, and respectfully.
All applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to purchase one and will be supported with safeguarding and invigilator training through virtual training.
As part of the CER invigilator team, you will benefit from:
* Excellent opportunities for CPD including interactive workshops, webinars, and SEND support.
* Generous Recommend a Friend Referral Scheme - £250 for referring another teacher to CER Education!
* Flexible working hours.
If you are looking for a flexible role between the months of March and July this year and have the ability to read, write, and speak the English language, then this role would be great for you.
CER is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications regardless of sex, age, race, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, religion and belief, pregnancy and maternity, or disability.
