Responsibilities
1. Book and attend renewal meetings with clients, following the company’s renewal procedures and ensuring contract renewals are signed
2. Recognise and seek opportunities to up/cross sell additional products and services that the business offers
3. Complete Client Review Meetings on a regular basis with all clients and provide feedback to relevant colleagues
4. Generate leads and gain referrals from new and existing clients for other areas of the business
5. Ensure valid Letters of Authority are held for your entire client base
6. Prepare for meetings with clients by ensuring you have an adequate knowledge of the client’s business activities and you are familiar with the contents of the Energy contracts
7. Ensuring all clients on your allocated list are contacted regularly via face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails to maintain the company profile, develop and maintain client relationships
8. Circulating information gained on clients internally, to ensure colleagues are aware of relevant information
9. Ensuring the CRM system is fully updated and maintained with all client contact, including outcome of meetings and any follow up criteria
10. Attend to any customer queries or issues and liaise with Client Services to keep informed
11. Be able to speak on the Energy markets with knowledge and expertise. Actively monitor trading screens and market intelligence to look for opportunities for clients to sign renewals
12. Maintain effective communication with all departments within the business
13. Produce and prepare reports as required in full and on time
14. Attend external seminars and conferences as and when required
15. Participate in ongoing training and development both on and off site
16. Attend and fully participate in regular performance reviews, one to one meetings and company appraisal system
17. Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the business
18. Provide support to colleagues and Directors as and when required.

23. Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

Desirable
35. 2 Years’ experience of working in a sales environment with extensive email / telephone / face to face contact with clients
36. Knowledge of the Energy Market would be an advantage, however thorough training will be provided
