Key Responsibilities
1. Drive and determine the Commercial strategy in their business area (including, but not restrict to defining the category proposition, setting and executing promotion strategy and driving procurement)
2. Lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the product management, strategic procurement, and business development
3. Manage the development and capabilities of category team members
4. Own the Mechanical Power Transmission, Bearings, Linear P&L and drive actions to manage and improve it
5. Define core suppliers and brands
6. Define product assortment
7. Define sell-out price strategy
8. Gather and provide market intelligence
9. Establish relationship with suppliers
10. Drive product innovation within existing offering
11. Ideate and implement sales initiatives (e.g., campaigns, training, sales enablers, etc)
12. Drive category sell-out; secondarily, reach expected levels of stock turn
13. Support quotes, tenders and special projects
14. Identify opportunities for cross-sell, OEM conversion and value creation
15. Address overall product queries from sales network and customers
16. Continuously review the industry/market trends and developments to ensure that the category strategy is current and driving business growth
17. Keep up to date with category knowledge, products and application
18. Ensure management of supplier and product data end to end
19. Lead strong relationships with relevant suppliers
20. Manage and establish standardized contract frameworks and T&Cs
21. Own commercial terms with suppliers (rebate, price support, etc)

Skills and Experience:
* Excellent technical knowledge of the Mechanical Power Transmission, Bearings, Linear category, products and application
* Understanding of the industry, markets, trends & developments
* Understanding of different suppliers in the categories and main characteristics / differences
* Ability to set and implement product strategy
* Ability to liaise with different stakeholders in the organization
* Ability to liaise with suppliers’ and customers’ stakeholders at a senior level
* Budgeting and financial management
* Ability to manage a P&L and drive sales & margin
* Data management and analysis
* Negotiation and supplier selection and management
* Management of commercial terms with suppliers
