Job Title: Head of Therapy – Children's Residential Services

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
*Must be registered with the HCPC or BACP*
Job Remit:
Compass Associates is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead our client's therapeutic services for children in residential care.
As Head of Therapy, you will oversee the development and delivery of high-quality therapeutic interventions across the service, working closely with the Operations team to ensure best practice and effective service delivery.
You will also have a key role in embedding our trauma-informed approach, incorporating PACE principles, and promoting Life Story Work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the clinical and therapeutic provisions, building a team of therapists and ensuring high-quality therapeutic interventions are delivered.
* Work closely with the Operations team to promote best practice and create/deliver specialist training sessions to staff.
* Embed and develop our trauma-informed approach, incorporating PACE principles and promoting Life Story Work.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Psychotherapy or Art/Drama/Dance/Music Therapy.
* Registration with the HCPC or BACP.
* Extensive experience working within children's residential and/or specialist education settings.
* Previous experience using a trauma-informed approach.
* Up-to-date knowledge around safeguarding and child protection.
* Leadership and service development experience.

The successful candidate will be based at our main site in Nuneaton, with easy access to Birmingham, Redditch, Coventry, Leicester, and surrounding towns.
