We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join a dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes. You will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets our exacting standards. This role requires a combination of creativity, precision, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
2. Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, sauces, pastry)
3. Manage and train junior kitchen staff within your section.
4. Ensure that all food is prepared and presented in an excellent and timely manner.
5. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen.
6. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
7. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
8. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
10. Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
11. Strong culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
12. Ability to manage a specific section of the kitchen efficiently.
13. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
14. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
15. Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
16. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
17. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
