We have an exciting new opportunity at Mansion Hill for a full time or part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. You will be responsible for:
1. Greeting clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
2. Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar, including future appointments
3. Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients
4. Collecting and updating client information in the database
5. Handling medication
6. Admin duties including scanning and organizing paperwork
7. Processing payments and managing debt
8. Cleaning
About you
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member who shows a real passion and positive attitude in every duty they perform. Candidates must have at least 1 year of reception experience, ideally with at least 1 year of veterinary reception experience, due to the fast-paced nature of the veterinary industry. The candidate needs to be highly self-motivated with good customer service skills. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work well within a team and independently. A strong knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) is also required.
About the rota
The role involves working 30-40 hours per week, including a Saturday rota. There may be potential for extra hours to cover holidays and sickness.
