The Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital in Impington is currently recruiting for multiple roles including these.
1. NHS Bookings Administrator: Coordinate receipt of booking/referral information from consultants, their secretaries or NHS Trusts and manage the eReferral system. Enter and process appointments and referrals into SAP and coordinate onward creation of patient medical file. Communicate with patients to ensure suitable arrangements are made for their treatment pathway, and ensure all correspondence is received in time for attendance. Apply Before 17/05/2024
2. Bookings Administrator – Inpatient: Receive all inpatient bookings from consultants and/or their secretaries and register them onto HMS/SAP. Process pre-assessment bookings in line with current processes, working closely with nurses and anaesthetists to ensure a complete and comprehensive assessment is carried out for each patient. Enter and process inpatient/daycase bookings into SAP and ensure correspondence of admission information is received. Apply Before 24/05/2024
3. Theatre Administrator: Provide effective administration support to the theatre department, ensure the highest standards of patient care and drive performance. Complete data entry for the National Joint Registry and patient surgical site surveillance data entry. Assist clinical staff in data entry for audits and monitor audit completion, identifying when audits are at risk of not being completed on time and escalating this to the relevant team leader. Cover ordering of lens and breast implants when relevant team leaders are away, as part of agreed stores processes. Compile requirements from booking forms, ensuring orders are made in good time and liaising with consultants when preferred implants are not available. Apply before 16/05/2024
4. Healthcare Assistant – Wards: Assist the team on the surgical ward in the provision of exemplary patient care, contributing to the support and monitoring of patients, identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person and assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies. 5. Pharmacy Dispenser: Responsible for goods in/goods out, stock taking and ordering. Provide some face-to-face drug counselling to our patients from time to time. Modify and structure data, information, computer records and stock management documents and assist in delivering pharmaceutical care to meet patient’s health and wellbeing needs. 6. Bank Staff Nurse – Wards: Support in assessing patients’ health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs. Actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect, collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others. 7. Physiotherapist – Outpatients: Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and advice to patients mainly in outpatients but there could be an expectation to cover inpatients. Work as an integrated member of the physiotherapy team whilst independently managing a clinical caseload of mainly orthopaedic patients. Apply before 29/05/2024
