As a Despatch Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate despatch of all customer orders and
deliveries. This role will involve coordinating with external pallet networks, identifying and resolving any issues, and
maintaining high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Owns the despatch process to ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
* Manages communication with external pallet networks to organise and oversee outbound deliveries.
* Oversees and books outbound deliveries, ensuring operations align with scheduled vehicle departure times.
* Reports and tracks outbound deliveries accurately.
* Supports warehouse outbound operations and wider business functions when required.
* Ensures a high level of service is consistently provided to both customers and internal teams.
* Works in accordance with Company Health and Safety policies, ensuring all staff comply with regulations.
About You:
* Punctual with excellent time management skills
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferable
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Pro-active, friendly, and helpful with ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers
* Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
