What skills and experience we're looking for
Requirements
• To administer all finances and expectations in line with the current Academy Trust Handbook and any other linked local and national expectations.
• Ensure the school makes the best possible use of resources through effective strategic planning, including consideration of all financial implications.
• Produce timely and fully costed proposals and ensuring they are sustainable, for example, through three year budgets.
• Understand the effects and implications of government policies, legislation and directives and develop effective strategies for current initiatives and long-term educational trends and developments.
• To actively participate in school policies, practices and procedures to safeguard all pupils and young adults.
• To positively challenge to further promote the Academy’s values and vision and ensure ‘Best Value’.
• Academy Company Secretary; to act as a liaison and administrator between the Governing Body, Academy Accountants and Company’s House. To manage, monitor and complete all required paperwork and submit in an orderly and timely manner.
