Role Summary
This is an exciting time to join a busy rail company as a Data Entry Clerk in a multi-disciplinary projects team that is implementing a new Payroll & HR software.
The Role
1. You will support the HR team with data entry to support the transition into the new systems.
2. You will support testing by following user testing scripts to input data helping the team test the function of the new system.
3. You will be working with sensitive personal information and as such will follow the relevant data protection policies.
4. Manual changes to information provided by our people, including personal and sensitive information.
5. Data download and entry.
6. Ensure HR & Payroll records are accurate and up to date with relevant documentation scanned and included on the People and Payroll system.
7. Assisting with systems testing ahead of upgrades to the People and Payroll system.

Our client is a leading rail company that is currently investing in improving their People & Payroll function through system and process upgrades. This is an essential role that will support the introduction of a new software program - Oracle.

Ideal Candidate
1. Previous experience within an HR or payroll department in any data entry, administration, or support function.
2. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well within the team.
4. Basic Excel skills - ability to interpret and input data between Excel and other systems.
5. Efficient use of digital systems and ability to manage high volume data entry.
6. Previous exposure to Oracle or any other HR or Payroll software/system would be highly desirable.
