On behalf of the MOD, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Inside IR35 for an 18-month contract based Hybrid 2 days a week in Corsham.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As a Senior Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
1. Create and lead the project to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
2. Set project controls. Design the project structure appropriate to stage. Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies.
3. Coordinate development of the Business Case.
4. Track delivery within budget.
5. Schedule/manage resources to deliver the project. May work independently or with a small team.
6. Ensure benefits are identified, understood, measured, tracked and owned. Ensure appropriate Benefits Realisation Strategy is in place, and monitor longer term delivery of benefits against the Business Case.
7. Identify key stakeholders and develop effective relationships.
8. Identify and monitor project risks and issues. Develop mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.
9. Provide key reports and support effective governance and decision making.
10. Support or set appropriate project assurance.
11. Ensure effective Change Management processes are in place to agree and document changes to deliverables as agreed with stakeholders.
12. Seek appropriate support, guidance and coaching from the project community. Show commitment to personal development. Promote effective individual and team performance.
Essential:
1. Experience in SATCOM Maritime Terminals.
2. Good understanding of MOD Equipment Procurement.
3. Excellent experience in Project Management in planning and leading a team.
4. Stakeholder Management.
5. APM Project Management Qualification or equivalent.
Desirable:
1. Good understanding of MOD Approvals.
