What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading and supporting a team of Care Workers from day-to-day task planning to mentoring and supervision.
* Supporting the Service Manager with rota planning, audits, and quality improvement.
* Creating and reviewing person-centred care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
* Administering and managing medication safely and effectively.
* Taking the lead in key working, staff appraisals, and training within the service.
* Covering management duties when required you’ll be a trusted part of the leadership team.
* Promoting dignity, safety, and wellbeing in every aspect of care.
What You’ll Bring
* A relevant SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care essential.
* Experience working in a care environment, ideally with some leadership, mentoring, or supervisory responsibilities.
* A positive, proactive approach able to support your team, take initiative, and lead with care.
* Willingness to complete additional qualifications, including PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, and SVQ Level 4 if not already held.
* Confidence using digital tools we use Microsoft Office and digital care planning systems.
