Our Corporate Compliance Department in Maidenhead is looking for a Compliance Officer for the KYC team. You will be working in a highly diverse and fast-paced international environment with the opportunity to contribute to the compliance programme. You will have frequent interactions with the business, counterparties, and other departments locally and globally. This position offers remote working opportunities for an agreed number of days per week.
The main tasks and responsibilities
1. Conduct KYC due diligence on new and existing counterparties globally and locally from a sanctions, anti-money laundering (AML), prevention of facilitation of tax evasion, and reputational perspective.
2. Conduct quality assurance on other team members’ KYC cases and handle escalations of KYC on high-risk counterparties.
3. Support other KYC team members and be a “go-to-person” for questions.
4. Interact directly with our counterparties and internal stakeholders across the globe in relation to the KYC due diligence.
5. Conduct compliance screening and resolve overnight matches on counterparties to identify, document, and mitigate compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks.
6. Work with the team head and team members on various compliance projects and enquiries.

Qualifications and requirements
1. Academic degree (or equivalent).
2. 5 years+ of relevant working experience (e.g. in KYC, AML, sanctions, or equivalent).
3. Experience from an international company is an asset.
4. Interest in compliance topics.
5. Fluent in English (corporate language); any additional language is a benefit, but not essential.
6. Very good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Good know-how in using IT applications (e.g. MS Office).
8. Eligibility to work in the UK.
