We are looking for an exemplary Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly Bernards Heath family. This role involves working to support the class teacher with the learning needs of the children, both whole class and 1:1. The ideal candidate will need to be proactive and have a firm but caring approach to understanding the needs of children. Relevant school experience is preferred, but not essential, and you must be willing to be flexible. Applications from candidates with secondary, infant or junior schools are welcome. The post is for 25 hours per week. All of our Teaching Assistants also work as lunchtime supervisors. This role would include up to 5 lunchtime duties (12.20 -1.20). This will be with additional pay for the lunchtimes worked. Part time would be considered for the right applicant. We require English and Maths qualifications to at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
