Main Purpose of the Role Your primary responsibility is to generate new business revenue and profit within a designated geographical territory and/or target sector, aligning with the Group Sales & Marketing Strategy. You will also be tasked with account managing specific, nominated regional customers, fostering strong relationships across their organizations. These relationships aim to drive additional revenue and profit from existing customers, further supporting the Group’s strategic objectives. In this role, you will be expected to meet all agreed targets, adhering to the Group Budget and Sales Activity plans. Additionally, you will act as a brand ambassador for NSS, consistently promoting the company to customers, competitors, and colleagues, ensuring a positive and professional representation of the NSS brand at all times. Your job will includes: Actively generate and manage sales activities to meet and exceed new business targets. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify and secure new business and grow existing accounts. Independently handle bids and tender responses with Sales Support assistance. Build strong customer relationships, identifying key contacts to maximize business opportunities. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and leverage relationships for additional growth. Prepare and deliver accurate, timely proposals and quotations that showcase NSS as an industry leader. Maintain detailed sales activity and pipeline updates in the CRM system. Promote continuous improvement and innovation to position NSS as a leader in safety, quality, and excellence. Support the development of the NSS brand and provide management information to meet customer expectations. Requirements of the role: - Strong verbal and written communication skills, with A-Level qualifications or equivalent. - Proven experience in Sales and/or Account Development, with the ability to create strategic account plans for growth. - Knowledge of Facilities Services or similar industries preferred but not essential. - Proficient in selling complex service solutions to large organizations. - Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office. - Commercially aware, profit-focused, and skilled at solving complex problems. - Resilient, persistent, and able to build credibility with customers and colleagues at all levels. - Full driving license required.
