As a Graduate Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of a 100% employee-owned organization that offers opportunities for career advancement and success.
Primary Objectives
The role involves ensuring building services systems are properly commissioned and meet requirements, supported by senior engineers. Responsibilities include:
1. Deliver commitments to clients on time with appropriate quality and detail.
2. Manage the commissioning process under senior engineers' guidance.
3. Validate commissioning results against requirements.
4. Inspect existing systems to assess performance.
5. Provide advice on commissioning strategies, programs, and scopes.
6. Perform measurements, surveys, and technical inspections as directed.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Arrange test instrumentation for testing as needed.
2. Assist in developing tender submissions.
3. Complete timesheets accurately weekly.
4. Maintain a Continuing Professional Development diary.
5. Understand relevant legislation, standards, and building regulations.
6. Learn commissioning techniques and interdisciplinary awareness.
7. Keep a training log of achievements and experience.
8. Attend relevant training, CPD sessions, and knowledge sharing events.
9. Support QA systems on projects.
Required Qualifications
* BEng, MSc in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
* Personable with a proactive attitude and resource management experience.
* Effective communication skills with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
* Organized, capable of managing multiple tasks.
* Team player with a passion for sustainability and commissioning processes.
* Willingness to travel within the EU, with valid documents for work and travel.
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
