Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Science Teacher with a specialisation in Chemistry to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemistry education to secondary school students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall development of the school community. The work is provided by the school, and you will not be lesson planning for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
Utilise provided lesson plans to ensure consistency and quality in teaching.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related subject.
Proven experience teaching chemistry at the secondary school level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic and passionate about teaching and inspiring students.
