About Heartwood
With more than a decade’s service in the field of social care, Heartwood Care Group have provided experienced support for children and young people in their local communities, delivering a tailored approach to each child and flexible care for those with emotional and/or behavioral difficulties who are emotionally vulnerable and occasionally challenging.
We are currently seeking passionate Team Leaders to join our exceptional team, dedicated to empowering our young people to achieve transformative and lasting positive outcomes.
Pay: £13.09-£14.00/hour
Contracted Hours: 40/week
Shift Patterns: 8:00am - 11:00pm plus sleeps
Sleep in: £45 (11pm-7am)
Responsibilities
* Demonstrate passion and commitment to excellent support and quality.
* As a Team Leader, be aware of Ofsted SCIFF and 9 standards, company policies and procedures, and adhere to company values.
* Lead and support meetings and reviews with professionals.
* Act within a flexible rota system.
* Demonstrate strong and supportive leadership.
* Communicate excellently with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Delegate tasks to team members during shifts – lead handovers and debriefs.
* De-escalate and support in first instance staff concerns and conduct accurate staff supervisions.
Requirements:
* Level 4 Children & Young Peoples Workforce Diploma with social care pathway or equivalent (essential/working towards).
* Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant legislation and regulation relating to Ofsted registered children’s homes (essential).
