Freight Sales Representative
Salary: up to £35k (DOE)
Location: Hull
Hours: Mon-Fri
Grafton Recruitment are looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join our Logistics client based in Hull. You will take the lead in winning new business for our client to help them grow. You will also be providing an excellent customer service experience for customers including clearances, quotes, arranging shipment/deliveries, invoicing and all other functions as required. Key responsibilities are listed below:
Develop and deliver new business contract opportunities within the existing business customer base
Follow strict and time sensitive SOP's/KPI's to ensure compliance
Work closely with internal and external customers
Customs Entries
Cost control
Independently generate new business leads and convert them into profitable sales.
Drive revenue growth by building long-term, meaningful relationships with key customers.
Track performance, report on progress, and implement strategies to optimise sales results
Identify new business opportunities
Discussing products available and selling packages
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
Support the development of new logistics solutions
