We are now recruiting for Bank Staff to work on a casual basis at our Breakfast and/or After School Clubs in Knaphill.
This role is suitable for those who are looking to work mornings or afternoons each week around other commitments, on a casual basis, e.g. college or university students or those with other part time roles. Shifts available between 7.30am - 9.00am and 2.50pm - 6.00pm.
This role is entirely flexible, and your availability will be requested on a week-by-week basis. Longer term / more regular commitments can be arranged if available.
The role
As a Bank Staff Breakfast and/or After School Club Assistant, you will assist the Breakfast or After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the club, whilst actively and enthusiastically supporting and engaging children aged 4-11.
As an integral part of the team, you will assist in the delivery of a range of playwork activities such as Arts & Crafts, Sports, Team Games and other activities. Playwork is about enriching the play environment, whilst providing a safe and secure setting for the children in your care. Enabling each child to explore, grow and have FUN! Full training will be provided.
This role would suit somebody studying towards, or those with experience of, working in a Primary School, Pre-School or Nursery, e.g. a Teaching Assistant, Early Years Educator or Nursery Assistant, or someone looking to move into the childcare industry.
Hours
Monday - Friday, varying shifts between 7.30 - 9am and 2.50pm - 6pm, term-time only.
