Belmont recruitment are currently looking to speak to Mental Health Nurses for a role as part of a Psychiatric decision unit within forward-thinking Birmingham.
This Band 6 role is part of a CAMHS service within the place of safety team. This team operates 24/7 and is looking for a candidate to work 3+ long shifts PW.
Duties:
1. Assess the care needs, develop & implement plans of care for those who are experiencing acute mental health deterioration or who are in a state of mental health crisis.
2. Be clinical leader of the team when on shift.
3. Provide clinical services that work within the policies, protocols, and clinical procedures.
4. Work as part of a team providing a user-focused, accessible, and responsive assessment service that is safe, supportive, and competent for people who experience acute mental health problems.
5. Provide management supervision to Band 5's and 3's and undertake managerial duties in the absence of the team coordinator.
Pay rates are as follows:
1. Days - £24.78 per hour
2. Nights/Sat - £30 per hour
3. Sunday/Bhol - £34 per hour
Hours: 33+
Contract: 3 Months+
Band: 6
Salary: Up to £35.00 per hour
For this position, you must be a registered mental health nurse.
