The Mobile Team Groundsperson role: Do you enjoy working outside and looking after gardens and grounds? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Mobile Grounds Team as a Mobile Team Groundsperson. The role will be based at Chichester College, but you will also travel to other CCG sites using a CCG supplied vehicle, to undertake horticultural and grounds duties across the Group as directed by the Team Co-ordinator. The Chichester College Group has a variety of grounds across its seven campuses, including sports pitches, astroturf, fields and communal areas. We also have a range of planters in our more urban campuses. Key Responsibilities of our Mobile Team Groundsperson : Undertaking such duties as requested by the Premises Supervisor to ensure that the amenity grounds are well maintained. Following the directions and instructions of the Grounds Team Leader. Carrying out all horticultural and grounds duties in accordance with current health & safety & other legal regulations. Maintaining sports pitches, courts and Astroturf including line marking. Maintaining grounds equipment, if qualified to do so. Undertaking minor repairs to fencing and other boundary markers. General cleaning and maintenance of signs. Undertaking any other duties as required to assist the Facilities & Premises team with the smooth running of the Group. Be willing to undertake any training, or staff development, relating to their work.
