To deliver continued sales growth, build AOV and to improve add to basket through B&Q and Trade-point ecommerce platforms for a specific category. Key Accountabilities / R esponsibilities: Take responsibility for the merchandising and optimisation of a specific product category across our three websites (diy.com, diy.ie and trade-point.co.uk) and all devices. Review performance of merchandising and mak e iterative improvements to maximise sales. Use CMS and eCommerc e tools to implement considered and strategic optimisation to our websites including onsite search journeys, visual merchandising and site hierarchy and navigation. Use digital insights tools to monitor category performance and Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and ke y performance metrics such as get-to-product rate, facet usage, conversion, bounce rate and AOV. Provide regular reporting on key performance metrics and share updates with a wider business audience o n how onsite optimisation is delivering results. Use digital and customer insights to plan and prioritise optimisation activities for your category, helping customers to accomplish their shopping goals. Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify opportunities to test and learn onsite, implement and share the results to shape best practice as our understanding of customers evolves. Build effective networks across the business to best support your product category Required S kills & E xperience: Ability to understand and utilise a wide range of online merchandising skills to improve customer journeys and relevant metrics including onsite search optimisation, visual merchandising, and site hierarchy optimisation. Experience using digital insights tools to drive decision making and identify key opportunities for improvement. Great attention to detail and a high standard of numeracy (including strong Excel skills ). Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate merchandising activities to a wide audience. Ability to organise and prioritise many tasks and work calmly under pressure. Flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated with the ability to work to targets in a deadline driven environment. Ambition and drive to learn / develop new skills. Able to motivate others and create effective networks of people who can give you what you need. Previous experience operating in an online retail environment.
