Band 7 Occupational Therapist or Band 7 Physiotherapist

HHFT are looking for an OT or Physio with a passion for acute medicine, to help lead our interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Practitioners and Assistants.
We are looking for someone with a strong clinical background in acute hospital care and evidence of good rotational experience across multiple specialities. We are looking for someone with the energy and drive to deliver and improve on services in a high pressured environment.
You would be part of our excellent team of clinical specialist therapists and as such would receive high quality peer support and strong professional leadership.

Main duties of the job
OTs and PTs in the B7 team are required to work flexibly across a range of medical wards as well as 'front door' (AAU and ED) over the 7-day period. A B7 PT would also be required to manage acutely deteriorating patients, both on-call and during normal working hours, and to support on-call and student training including SIM suite.
Regardless of professional background, the successful candidate will be expected to work alongside the existing B7 team providing support to the Acute Team Lead in the day to day management of the team. This includes the week-to-week management of staffing/supervisions/sickness, capability and performance management and recruitment/retention.

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year (Per annum pro rata)
