The Role As a tutor you will be required to deliver tuition sessions to help these students gain the confidence and level required to attain the qualifications needed and potentially return to further education. Unlike other agencies, 1st Staff also provide a support network for all of our tutors such as a lead tutor for your specific area, designated safeguarding leads, curriculum leads for Maths and English, Behavioural specialist and a Head of education. Position Details Location - Can be in either School, Local community or in Students homes Hours - 10-15 hours per week (sessions will be split 2-3 hours per day 5 days a week) more hours available if working with multiple students. Start date - ASAP Skills & Experience Required: Confidence working with a range of SEN/SEMH and challenging behaviour Being able to cater lesson plans to the child's individual's needs Demonstrating a nurturing and supportive nature with good behaviour management skills.
