Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor for a up and coming client in the M&E sector. The position is permanent and located in Belfast. Purpose: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by providing expert advice, conducting risk assessments, and supporting overall health and safety management within the company. Key Responsibilities: Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to maintain high safety standards. Provide health and safety advice and ensure compliance with company policies. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement improvements. Participate in audits and liaise with external agencies for compliance. Ensure corrective actions for health and safety non-conformances. Maintain and update the company’s Health & Safety Management System. Attend project meetings and client health & safety meetings. Deliver training and promote a strong safety culture. Advise on occupational health risks and arrange health surveillance. Skills & Qualifications: Essential: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, insurance legislation, QA compliance, people management, and IT skills. Desirable: Negotiation, communication, and professional development (IOSH or equivalent). Qualification: Minimum NEBOSH certificate with proven track record in health and safety. Special Features: Travel may be required for site operations across the UK. Attendance at all relevant health and safety meetings.
