Social Worker Team Manager

Rate: £40
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to manage, develop and lead a Social Work Team service in order to deliver high quality services that address the needs of children/young people and their families and lead to improved outcomes.
To achieve value for money in the way services are delivered and to ensure the Council meets its statutory obligations.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Making key decisions in relation to resource allocation and service delivery.
2. Managing day to day or operational matters.

1. DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
2. Social Work England registration.
3. Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
5. Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team/multi-agency setups.
6. Knowledge of service needs.
7. Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
8. Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessments/reports/files.
9. Flexible approach to work and working hours when needed.
