The Fulham Boys School is seeking an excellent teacher to join our thriving Geography department.
The successful applicant will play an integral role in contributing to the success of boys’ outcomes as well as our exciting extra-curricular programme which brings the curriculum to life, inspires a lifelong love of Geography and helps prepare boys for university and beyond.
The success of Geography in the school is underpinned by the passion of our teachers. Lessons are dynamic and exciting with a no excuses approach to challenge and engagement. Learning is further brought to life by trips both within the UK and abroad - this year there was a trip to Iceland and a trip to Norway is being planned for next academic year.
Geography is a hugely popular subject at FBS with a strong uptake at both GCSE and A-Level. 90% of last year’s GCSE cohort achieved a pass, with over half of these securing at least Grade 7. You will be working under a Head of Department who has been an established teacher at the school for a number of years and is leading the subject on the next stage of its continuing development.
