Accounts Receivable Assistant 30 hours per week, hybrid role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Accounts Receivable Assistant to join us and assist the Accounts Receivable Lead to implement best practices and policies in customer invoicing, statements, receipts processing and organisation wide analytics. You will also assist on best practices within accounts receivable. Duties and responsibilities Assisting the ARL to ensure all invoices are processed and raised in a timely manner (including intercompany and resident), assisting credit control procedures and processing remittance advice notes from customers to ensure a healthy cash position for the organisation and support the independence of service users. Assist the ARL in the creation of back-up schedules for balance sheet reconciliations and providing a review (including aged debtors report) to provide key data and enable appropriate escalation to the Financial Accountant for resolution as needed. Assist the management accounts preparation by ensuring full details available for revenue at a service/divisional level, assisting in information gathering and trend analysis to inform Budgets, Reforecasts and Cashflow to give assurances to budget holders. Provide specific cover for other areas of the finance function where necessary, i.e., Procure to Pay and/or Payroll data entry to support with a fully functioning supportive team. Undertake any reasonable duties/responsibilities to meet the needs of the organisation. We would love to hear from you if you possess the following: GCSE Maths & English (A-C/4-9) (or equivalent) Working towards AAT or willingness to undertake and complete on appointment Demonstrable Experience of supporting accounts receivable in a complex organisation. Demonstrable experience of KPIS / staff member Demonstrable experience in relevant balance sheet reconciliations Demonstrable experience of supporting complex relationships with external and internal stakeholders. Understanding of financial regulations and processes Understanding of revenue recognition Understanding of customer statement reconciliation Understanding of GDPR Highly developed communication, numeracy and written skills. Developed ability to problem solve and provide practical solutions. Developed ability in MS office and Financial CRM High level of enthusiasm and motivation High level of emotional resilience Highly organised with ability to manage multiple projects effectively Excellent time management skills Ability to undertake CPD as part of your role Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships.
