Job Description
The Inside Sales Manager/Sourcing Analyst position has both sales management and sourcing responsibilities. The primary purpose of this role is to drive success within the inside sales support team in their efforts to provide excellent customer service, drive sales growth, and effectively manage customers’ orders. Sourcing analyst responsibilities involve optimizing procurement strategies through market research, supplier evaluation, cost management, and strategic planning. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure procurement aligns with business objectives and drives efficiency and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities :
Inside Sales Management
* Magage, coach, lead an inside customer sales support team. Core management responsibilities include assessing department’s needs, recruitment, training & onboarding, regular performance reviews, and employee development.
* Faciliate the inside sales support team’s efforts to:
o Build excellent rapport with all key customers, understanding their needs and delivering to their requirements.
o Understand how the products are used and their applications.
o Identify sales growth opportunities within all customers and their markets.
o Ensure accurate and timely outlooking is completed by forecasting numbers through coordination the External Sales, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure Revenue and Material Margin outlooks are accurate, and any issues are highlighted early on in order to react appropriately.
o Accurately process customer sales orders and ensure that customers receive all required information.
* Be a developing expert in the ITW business model and ensure the team is acting in accordance to Business Model objectives.
* Being a gatekeeper against projects and requests to ensure they are in line with the Business Unit’s strategies.
* Be the first step of escalation for customer issues including, but not limited to, expedite requests, quality issues, pricing, and general support.
* Analyse sales data and take action in the best interests of ITW's strategic goals, while ensuring key customer focus.
* Be familiar with export customs procedures and compliance requirements of our products and ensure team is also up-to-date and provides appropriate documentation as needed.
Sourcing Analyst
* This position will have primary responsibility for suppliers located in the EMEA region. This includes component suppliers and suppliers of finished goods.
* Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify trends and opportunities, guiding sourcing decisions.
* Supplier Evaluation: Assess suppliers on cost, quality, reliability, and capacity, and manage these relationships.
* Cost Optimization: Develop strategies for cost savings, negotiate terms, and analyze total cost of ownership.
* Strategic Planning: Work with teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals and manage strategic sourcing plans.
* Data Analysis: Analyze procurement data for insights, trends, and improvements; present findings to senior management.
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance procurement processes.
* Contract Management: Support and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes.
* Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and provide recommendations.
* Tool Management: Manage tooling condition reports, asset tagging, and documentation.
* Compliance: Manage requirements such as RoHS, REACH, and others as necessary.

* 4-year degree in business or technical field preferred

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines as assigned.

* Hands-on operational experience, understanding what it is like in a manufacturing environment
