What's involved with this role: Temporary Business Services Assistant/Admin – Resources Job Ref: Derbyshire 5251185 Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour PAYE/National Minimum Wage Applies Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for up to 3-4 months City: Alfreton, Derbyshire Office based A Business Services Assistant required to work with a small team for the Children with Disabilities Service based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The post is required to provide essential support to the social work teams, to include answering telephone calls, covering a business services inbox, Mosaic tasks, minute taking, typing letters, assisting with finance and other admin duties. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support for meetings and internal/external events including arrangement of such events. Where required, maintain diaries, produce and manage correspondence, taking minutes and progress chasing. May perform support tasks which contribute towards the area specialist in nature, managing own work load from start to finish. Prepare documents and other materials to a clear brief using established formats and standard software. Straightforward data analysis, manipulation and interpretation following clear procedure and guidance to provide information. Understanding of relevant policies and procedures as they affect the role and the quality standards and outputs required. Qualifications: Good general standard of education to GCSE standard in two suitable subjects (Maths and English preferred).
