Our client is looking for procurement professionals with indirect procurement experience.
Responsibilities
1. Working with stakeholders to develop strategic and tactical initiatives as needed
2. Providing thought leadership around internal processes as well as category and procurement best practices
3. Identifying market-disrupting suppliers or alternative suppliers/strategies
4. Understanding key categories such as Consultancy, Data, Travel and Expenses, Outsourcing/BPO, Audit, Labour, HR Services, R&D, IT, and Marketing
5. Identifying, creating, and implementing initiatives to maximize value while ensuring ongoing management of existing supplier contracts and relationships
6. Providing commercial leadership to stakeholders including senior executives
Required Skills
1. Ability to collaborate effectively in a Procurement role within a complex environment
2. An analytical approach to assessing requirements and approaching negotiations
3. Ability to operate and successfully communicate within a corporate environment
