An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Breakfast Chef to join the culinary team at our brand-new hotel opening with over 150 bedrooms. We are looking for a chef who takes pride in delivering high-quality breakfasts, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality breakfast dishes in line with hotel standards.
* Ensure an efficient and smooth breakfast service, catering to both buffet and à la carte offerings.
* Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency, upholding high culinary standards.
* Set up and stock the breakfast section, ensuring everything is ready for service.
* Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring minimal waste and effective ordering.
* Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with HACCP and hotel policies.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop creative and varied breakfast options.
* Support in preparing and setting up for banqueting or lunch service as required.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
What We Are Looking For
* Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Commis Chef, or Chef de Partie in a hotel or restaurant setting.
* A passion for fresh, quality ingredients and well-executed breakfast dishes.
* Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure during busy breakfast service.
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
* A team player with a positive and professional attitude.
* Ability to work early shifts, with flexibility where required.
