Job summary We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Radiographers to join our dynamic, friendly team, to play a key role in maintaining and improving standards and quality of patient services. It is an exciting time to join our team, with a wide scale equipment replacement program is in progress across the trust. The post is based on the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Oxford Road site and includes training and rotation through general X-ray, theatre and mobile imaging, fluoroscopy, with some training in CT to be able to support the out of hours services. Candidates, who have been qualified for 18 months or longer, will also be eligible to apply for link grading to a band 6 post following or at appointment subject to successful completion of the Trusts probationary period. MFT is a busy teaching hospital as well as a Major Trauma center with around 145,000 patients visiting our Emergency department each year.The Radiology department is evolving all the time. Our radiology department is a small and friendly facility, which offers you the chance to develop skills in all areas of general paediatric radiography with some potential element of training in other modalities such as CT/MR. In time there are excellent opportunities to progress into specialist areas. Main duties of the job Have a BSc Radiography or DCR or be qualifying in Radiography Students registering in Summer 2025 following qualification.
