Job summary We require a reliable, organised, motivated individual, to join our friendly and dedicated reception & admin team. Candidates must have excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone; be computer literate and able to work under pressure. You should also have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Previous experience of working in General Practice would be an advantage but is not essential, as the right candidate will receive appropriate training. The Practice uses EMIS web as their clinical system and uses ACCRUX to receive Website requests online from patients. Main duties of the job Main Responsibilities Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the practice team.
