The Role:
As an Assistant Revenue Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing groups for the hotels, ensuring group rates are maintained and all inquiries are followed up to ensure conversion.
* Maintaining complete knowledge of and complying with all departmental policies, services, procedures, and standards.
* Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, guest room layouts, bed types, decor, room availability, rates, packages/promotions, upselling, agent relationships, billing conditions, and cross-selling opportunities at Scotsman venues in Edinburgh.
* Understanding how to operate Opera PMS, Channel Manager, Booking Button, and all third-party/FIT extranets.
* Fostering good relationships with all agents.
* Analyzing booking trends and competitor rates.
* Preparing financial reports.
