Location: Newbury or London + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

What you’ll do
* You will develop and articulate a clear and compelling technology strategy aligned with Vodafone’s business goals.
* You will lead the Technology Strategy and Delivery team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
* You will monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for Vodafone’s growth and differentiation.
* You will oversee the development of comprehensive technology strategy execution roadmaps and ensure their successful implementation.
* You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology initiatives are effectively integrated and aligned with overall business strategies.
* You will manage and prioritize a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
* You will act as a key point of contact for technology strategy with senior leadership, providing regular updates and insights.
* You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technology strategists and project managers.
Who you are
* You will be a leader with ideology and a track record of making cultural change in complex organisations.
* You will demonstrate a proven track record leading large technical delivery teams with an in-depth understanding of the technologies, processes and techniques required for delivering high quality solutions within a fast-moving organisation.
* You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle including multiple delivery methodologies with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teams.
* You will have extensive experience in liaising with senior-level stakeholders and delivering successful change initiatives.
* You will have proven experience of leadership and delivery in Technology, ideally with mobile & web platform experience.
* You will ideally have experience delivering in both Waterfall and Scaled Agile environments.
* You will have experience of, and understanding of emerging technology and technology trends & being enthusiastic about modern development practice, tooling, technology and techniques.
* You will have the ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead a team of people helping them to realise their potential and creating the right environment for them to thrive.
