At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs. About the Role: We are looking for a passionate Multi Skilled Operative to join our rapidly expanding team in Northeast to work within a busy repairs / voids team environment. Reporting individual job actions from site to ensure our clients receive high levels of service and high satisfaction levels as well. As a Multi Skilled Operative your main duties will include repairs and refurbishment activities to our tenanted accommodation properties delivering best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards. The main role will be to complete general repairs on homes including changing doors, taps, baths, fixing radiators, fixing kitchen units, fire doors, carpets as well as plastering any ceiling and walls where required. Role Criteria: NVQ level 3 in at least 1 trade Trade knowledge and experience in Plumbing, Joinery and plastering Must hold a full UK driving License Ability to work on your own initiative Excellent communication and Customer service skills All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
