Reporting to a People Partner, you will provide guidance and support on people matters across HRUC, with a key focus on contributing to a positive working environment by assisting with people processes and the vast range of employee-related matters. The successful candidate will be adept at managing large volumes of employee relations cases, including complex ER cases and redundancies. This role involves providing guidance and support to managers through formal processes as well as advising on policy and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Serve as the first point of contact for People-related queries, providing advice and guidance in line with legislation and HR best practices.
* Manage and resolve employee relations cases, including complex ER cases and redundancies.
* Assist in resolving staff queries and concerns, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
* Conduct employee engagement initiatives to enhance performance and satisfaction.
* Create reports and track and monitor trends and metrics, for example, employee engagement levels and performance.
* Maintain high quality staff records, ensuring data accuracy and legislative compliance.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated individual who can demonstrate the following:
* Proven experience in managing large volumes of employee relations cases, including complex ER cases and redundancies.
* Strong understanding of HR practices, including employee relations, discipline and grievance, performance management, and absence management.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
* A proactive approach and adept at problem-solving.
