We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineering Apprentice to join our growing team whom after successful completion will then progress onto the second year Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship with QA Whether you’re a self-taught coder or have some experience with technologies like Azure, MS SQL, C#, Web API, HTML5, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Angular, we’re here to help you grow. If your experience lies with other technologies but you’re keen to learn, we’d still love to hear from you Main Responsibilities : As a Software Engineering Apprentice, you’ll: Build and support innovative software systems, services, and websites using industry-leading technologies. Learn through off-the-job training provided by QA Apprenticeships during the working week, giving you time to focus on your development. Work closely with a supportive and collaborative team to deliver fantastic systems for our users. Desirable Skills: We’re looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for software and technology. Thrives in a team environment and understands the importance of collaboration. Communicates effectively and has strong attention to detail. Is dedicated to continual learning and self-improvement, both technically and functionally. Personal Attributes: Team player who takes pride in contributing to the team’s success. Willingness to step up and meet deadlines or take on additional responsibilities when needed. A proactive approach to learning and growing your technical skills. Entry Requirements: The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
