You will play a crucial role in conducting surveys, collecting data, and producing maps using various tools and software. The role will require travel to London and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
The scope of this role is to carry out the physical check and survey of all of the underground services within the area that is being investigated, the service locator will have the following responsibilities.
The Trainee Service Locator will use various geophysical techniques to locate the service, once they have been found, the services will be marked/spray painted onto the ground in the appropriate colour, defining the type of service and the depth of the service.
* Working with modern service location equipment such as Radar detection, RD8100/8200.
* Accurately and consistently locate underground utility assets and mark them up on-site as part of the permit-to-dig process.
* Work with your surveying mentor as their assistant to complete surveys in line with Vision Survey, clients and industry standards.
* Building and maintaining client relationships ensuring we deliver to our client’s expectations.
* Assisting with detailed field and office location assignments.
* Checking the quality of information within a permit to dig, and the successful briefing of site teams.
* Ensure that all survey kit is maintained and well kept.
* Follow the Client/Site permit to dig procedures, and RAMS.

* A full UK manual driving license is required.
