About the Role:
You will play a key role in the Vehicle Build department, assembling and preparing mechanical sub-assemblies and components for integration into our bespoke restorations. This includes the sub-assembly of chassis parts, requiring a keen eye for detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and a passion for delivering high-quality craftsmanship in a luxury automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical sub-components, including chassis parts, with precision, ensuring seamless integration within the vehicle build process.
Work with a variety of hand and power tools to build sub-assemblies to exacting specifications.
Inspect components for quality and ensure they meet the high standards expected in luxury vehicle restoration.
Follow technical drawings and build instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
Collaborate closely with vehicle build technicians, engineers, and fabricators to ensure efficient workflow and seamless integration.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in parts or assemblies to maintain the highest quality standards.
Who We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly, automotive restoration, or a similar precision engineering role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with high-end automotive components.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Experience working with hand tools and assembly techniques.
A meticulous approach with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a flawless finish.
