Role Overview:
We are looking for a Creative Media Executive who is passionate about creating engaging & disruptive content for social media platforms with a focus on TikTok as well as creating and concepting compelling and disruptive campaigns that specifically translate across social channels.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting trend-led, visually engaging social media content as well as helping the Creative Campaign manager concept and deliver creative campaigns that resonate with our beauty-obsessed, Gen-Z audience. You will collaborate with teams across the business to develop campaigns & content strategies that drive engagement and brand awareness, aligning with key product launches, editorial content, and campaign objectives.
This is a hands-on creative production role, your day to day will be creating TikTok’s, editing BTS from shoots, working with influencers in real time to create assets and concepting new product launches with a view of how these are executed across socials with the Creative Campaign Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop innovative and engaging social media content across platforms, with a strong focus on TikTok & Instagram
* Collaborate closely with the Brand, Marketing, and Product Development teams to ensure social media content supports and enhances product launches, brand campaigns, and promotions.
* Help concept and deliver compelling campaigns that align with the brands objectives and Gen-Z audience
* Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends, pop culture, and social media trends, leveraging this knowledge to create content that resonates with our audience.
* Create and execute content plans and calendars, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, trend-led social content.
* Craft compelling visual stories that speak to our Gen-Z customer, domestically and internationally, across beauty categories like make-up, skincare, haircare, and wellness.
* Measure and analyse the performance of social media content to optimise strategies, increase engagement, and drive results.
* Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all social media content, ensuring alignment with BEAUTY BAY’s brand identity.
* Collaborate with the in-house design, photography, and video teams to produce high-quality assets that elevate our social media presence.
* Represent the Brand Team as a brand guardian, proactively championing content, trend and community insights in wider forums and collaborating with the wider Brand Team on the ideation of opportunities to grow brand awareness
* Proactively research, collate and share opportunities and learnings from the social media industry and high performing brands to ensure BEAUTY BAY are always ahead of the trend curve and working to best practice
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
* Experience within a similar Creative Media role is essential (12-18 months).
* Experience within Content Creation & Social Media reporting is advantageous.
* Retail/E-Commerce experience his highly desirable however not essential.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider Social & Brand Team.
* Experience working within the Beauty/Cosmetics industries advantageous.
* Strong understanding of videos & stills productions for social media
* Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
