As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and innovating technology for the company's simulator products based on leading-edge technology. Specifically, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating new features and updates to FPGA implementations.
This position requires a candidate with significant industry experience in VHDL product specification and development, test bench development, and scripting experience within a structured engineering environment that includes requirements analysis/definition, design/implementation, defect tracking, and testing.
The ideal candidate will have relevant industrial experience and strong FPGA firmware programming skills using VHDL in high-speed logic environments (over 100MHz). Experience with Xilinx FPGAs is preferred over Altera FPGAs or ASICs.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* FPGA implementation from internal design specifications or externally published interface control documentation.
* Design test/verification and qualification.
* SUPPORT and future development of the company's existing embedded firmware applications.
* Provide engineering support to internal supply chain and client services departments.
* Participate in the maintenance and enhancement of FPGA design processes and practices.
* Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of existing products and features.
* Produce clear documentation to support the integration, system verification, configuration, and use of FPGA features.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with:
* An honours degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
* Demonstrable post-graduate related experience in VHDL project specification and development, test bench development, and scripting experience within a structured engineering environment.
* Relevant industrial experience and strong FPGA firmware programming skills using VHDL in high-speed logic environments.
* Experience with Xilinx FPGAs is preferred over Altera FPGAs or ASICs.
* Strong experience in digital electronics.
