1. The post holder will work both with the occupational therapists, and, after instruction and training, independently, to assist families and education staff in carrying out OT programmes and monitoring use of equipment. 2. The post holder will also assist in the smooth running of the service by ensuring adequate stock of specialist equipment supplies and assessments, the ordering and recording stock and non-stock items on the ELMS system, keeping the department tidy, maintaining the cleanliness of toys and equipment used, and inputting data onto systems as required. 3. The post holder will support all members of the team with administration duties, making resources to support programmes for children, and ensuring the links on website and resources are checked and updated on a yearly basis. 4. Assisting with specific Clinics including DCD Clinics, setting up standardised assessment kits in rooms for therapists, assisting therapists if required during the assessment process. 5. The post holder, under guidance and supervision, will help co-ordinate the organization of some clinics which will include carrying out telephone calls and liaison with other external agencies.
