The role of Deputy Manager is ideally suited to:
1. Assistant Manager /Deputy Manager
2. Experienced Senior Residential Support worker who is looking for the next step in their career

Your role during a child’s time with the client:
You will form part of an experienced, professional team around a child and achieve amazing results through a unique approach to residential care, education, and therapy. You will be supported by a Registered Manager and a team of multidisciplinary experts including education specialists, therapists, and assessment leads.
Together with the Registered Manager, you will create a safe space for children to develop, learn, and flourish. You will coach, mentor, and supervise a team of Residential and Senior Residential Support Workers supporting 4 children in 1 home to ensure they are fully supported to be the best that they can be.
As the Deputy, you will also be responsible for the rotas, including self-managing your working week.
Do you have these qualities?
1. Experience as a Deputy or Assistant Manager or Senior Residential Support Worker in the Residential Child Care sector
2. Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent
3. A full understanding of safeguarding children
4. Confident when supervising care teams and offering leadership
5. A good knowledge of the legislation relating to residential childcare
6. Passion, drive, and resilience when supporting children with emotional and behavioural challenges
7. Good verbal and written communication skills
8. IT proficient and the desire to learn new skills
9. A full, valid, UK driving licence for manual vehicles.
