The Inpatient Pharmacy at the Royal Berkshire Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. We are looking for hard-working and highly motivated individuals to join our welcoming and innovative team.

Main duties of the job
Undertake duties on a rotational basis across Pharmacy Homecare, Pharmacy Stores, and the multi-disciplinary Dispensary teams. Performing a range of tasks to assist and support the provision of a variety of Pharmacy services. Work as part of the multi-disciplinary dispensary team when participating in the weekend and bank holiday rotas, including booking prescriptions onto the prescription tracking system.

* GCSEs at level 4-9 (grade A* - C or equivalent) in Maths, English Language, and 2 Science subjects

* NVQ and BTEC Level 2 in Pharmacy Services, OR willing to work towards qualification
