The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing key retailer relationships to drive growth and market share.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
1. Developing customer relationships, providing exceptional levels of customer service and identifying opportunities for growth.
2. Handling ‘day to day’ account issues that arise.
3. Working with and supporting the wider sales and marketing teams, evaluating promotions, and implementing marketing initiatives.
Hybrid working is available – you’d be spending three days in the office and (if you want to), two days at home.

This is an ideal opportunity for a National Account Executive (or similar) looking for progression, or somebody in a NAM role seeking a new challenge.
The key things you’ll need are:
4. Ideally a background in the food industry, although this is not essential, with experience of working on grocery retail accounts (top 4 would be preferred).
5. Sound commercial awareness, and able to develop strong relationships with customers at all levels.
6. Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
7. Proactive approach and highly organised, able to plan and prioritise a busy workload.
8. Self-motivated and target driven, yet happy to do the less exciting, admin parts of the job.
