What the Job Involves As a SEND Transformation Lead in Sutton, you will oversee and develop strategies for achieving financial sustainability within the Local Authority's SEND and AP Strategy. You will collaborate with a diverse team of seconded and non-seconded professionals, including senior educational psychologists and headteachers, to enhance the provision across mainstream schools. Your role involves designing a robust, Ordinarily Available Provision and implementing standard funding and commissioning arrangements. You will develop guidelines for SEND, focusing on early needs identification and minimizing reliance on more intensive pathways like EHCNAs. Additionally, you will work on the development of inclusion metrics to guide transformation and create alternative pathways aligned with the National Curriculum. Key tasks include reviewing and modifying the SEND commissioning strategy, strengthening SEMH provision and supporting a high-quality outreach offer from specialist providers.
